The Harbourfront Terminal in Singapore is part of the Singapore Cruise Centre (SCC). SCC has three terminals and Harbourfront Terminal is the main ferry terminal. Harbourfront has two terminals, one International Passenger Terminal that operates cruises and the other one Regional Ferry Terminal, operating ferries to Malaysia and Indonesia. With 6 ferry berths in the terminal, Harbourfront serves more than 3.5 million ferry passengers per year.

Harbourfront Terminal may be a busy connection point for Singapore via sea, but it is more than a terminal. You can shop, eat, and have fun here at the terminal, precisely at the Singapore Cruise Centre. Harbourfront Centre shops are excellent for brand shopping and there are eateries available to allow the passengers to relax before or after their journey. How to Reach HarbourFront Ferry Terminal 

Being the major part of Singapore’s transport system, you can reach the Harbourfront via bus and taxis from any part of the country. 

MRT - HarbourFront Terminal is also linked to the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) network, Singapore's efficient and extensive subway system. The terminal has an underground linkway that connects to the HarbourFront MRT station, which is part of both the North-East Line and the Circle Line. This integration makes it easy for commuters to transfer between the MRT and ferry services.

Harbourfront Terminal has a paid parking facility at level 4 – 8. It is open on all days of the week.

  • $0.75 for each subsequent half-hour or any part thereof

Evening Rates (6:00 PM – 4:00 AM):

When booking ferry tickets online, you do not n eed to collect a physical copy. However, you will need a boarding pass, if you are travelling on an international route. You can arrive at the terminal and go for check-in. You should reach at least 25 mins before the departure time. Please keep your visa, passport, and other necessary documents such as insurance, ready to show at the immigration.

Terminal Fee

Travelers must pay a nominal terminal fee over and above the ferry ticket prices to the ferry terminals in Indonesia and Singapore. The terminal fee varies by country and must be paid to the terminal operator at the ferry terminal.

For all ferry trips departing from Harbourfront Centre or Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal in Singapore as the source, a Singapore Passenger Departure Fee of SGD10 per person is applicable.

Terminal Fee For Ferry Trips From Batam

For all ferry trips departing from Badan Pengusahaan Batam (BP Batam), including Batam Centre, Sekupang and Waterfront ferry terminals, a Batam Terminal Fee of IDR100,000 per passenger is applicable.

Terminal Fee For Return Ferry Trips from Tanjung Pinang* and Tanjung Balai*

Before departure, you must pay in cash in Indonesian Rupiah at Tanjung Pinang Ferry Terminal. (Applicable to passengers departing from Tanjung Pinang and Tanjung Balai ONLY)

Tanjung Balai Terminal Fee of -

  • Indonesian citizens have to pay Rp50,000 per person
  • Foreign passengers have to pay Rp75,000 per person
