Wavemaster

Wavemaster is an Australian-designed series of high-speed craft vessels. It can transport 168 passengers (Economy), is 37.5 meters long and 7 meters wide, and is powered by a Caterpillar engine.

Majestic M200

The Australia-designed high-speed naval architect can transport up to 200 passengers. The length is 33 meters and 8.5 meters in breadth with MAN engine. It includes Majestic 7, Majestic 8 and Majestic 9.

Majestic M317

The Majestic M317 can transport 317 people, with 8 in business class and 309 in economy class. The ferry variant is 39 meters in length and has an MTU Engine.

Majestic Ferry Terminal Price

Tanjung Pinang Ferry Terminal 

The Tanjung Pinang Ferry Terminal taxes, which are payable at the Tanjung Pinang Ferry Terminal for trips to and from the port, is Indonesian Rupiah (Rp) 40,000 for Indonesian citizens and Rp 60,000 for all other nationalities.

HarbourFront Terminal Parking Fee

The terminal fee during peak hours, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, is SGD 2.15 for the first hour.

Batam Terminal Parking Fee

The ferry ticket price covers the ferry services, Singapore passenger departure fee, and Batam terminal fee from boarding to destination.

Luggage Policy

Passengers must present their boarding passes and passports at the baggage drop counters. Arrive 30 minutes before departure at the terminal to avoid being late. The baggage check-in counter opens in 60 minutes and closes 20 minutes before departure.

For Check-in luggage

Passengers can carry up to 20 kg of luggage, which they can drop off at the counter after check-in. They charge S$1 per kg for excess baggage over 20 kilograms, up to 40 kg per passenger.

For Hand Carry luggage

Each passenger can carry up to 10 kg. The ideal dimension is 55cm x 40cm x 20cm.

Odd-sized luggage

The ferry charges $10 per item for odd-sized luggage, such as surfboards, wakeboards, bicycles, etc, weighing up to 30 kg.

Prohibited check-in items

The prohibited items while travelling via ferry are endangered species, weapons, obscene articles, tobacco, drugs or psychotic substances.

Permanent residents of Singapore can avail the Visa-Free facility while travelling to Batam and Bintan (Based on Surat Edaran No. IMI-9840.GR.01.01 Tahun 2024). Eligible Singapore Permanent Residents will get a 4-day visit permit on entering Batam. The permit cannot be extended or converted to a different type of permit. 

The residents of Singapore can enter Visa-FREE through the following terminals. 

• Batam Centre International Terminal 

• Sekupang International Ferry Terminal 

• Tanjung Pinang Ferry Terminal 

Eligibility for Visa-Free entry

• Must be a foreigner with Singapore Permanent Resident Status

• Must hold a blue Singapore National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) and bring a physical card while visiting. 

• Need not be a citizen of the country listed under the visa requirement. 

Countries under the list (Afghanistan, Israel, North Korea, Liberia, Nigeria, Somalia). 

Majestic Ferry Singapore Latest Update

• Passengers travelling from Singapore to Batam via the Majestic Fast ferry need to present a Digital Arrival Card (DAC). Please note that DAC is not equivalent to Visa. It consolidates immigration, customs, and health procedures into a comprehensive document, known as the Digital Arrival Card (DAC). Effective from October 1, 2025, it is now mandatory to present the DAC at the immigration office while entering Batam from Singapore via ferry. • Singapore’s Majestic Fast Ferry Pte Ltd has assigned Incat Crowther, the leading digital shipbuilder, to design a new second-generation 39-meter passenger ferry for its future fleet.

Here is what you need to know:

• Incat Crowther’s PT Cahaya Samudra: Four vessels measuring 29 meters, 32 meters, 39 meters, and 42 meters, respectively.

• It has eleven first-generation Crowther PT Cahaya Samudra and has been replaced by the second generation.

• The latest second-generation Incat Crowther-designed PT Cahaya Samudra 39-meter includes 13 and 42-meter 3 vessels.

• The second-generation 39-meter vessels are designed to transport up to 312 passengers at a speed of 32 knots.

• The upgrade includes aesthetic windows, a sleek design, improved fuel efficiency, a central aisle, and increased seating capacity.
