Ferries are generally on time, sometimes minor delays may occur due to sea traffic or weather conditions. In case of any delay, the passengers will be informed by the Ferry Operators via email/ message/call. You can also check the Ferry status on our redBus app.
Ferry operators may delay departures due to adverse weather conditions to ensure passenger safety. Services will resume once conditions are deemed safe for travel. As these delays are beyond the operator's control and are implemented for safety reasons, refunds may not be applicable. We recommend planning your travel and activities to accommodate potential weather-related delays and avoid disruptions to your schedule. For any assistance with your journey, you can reach out to our support team via Help section.
Depending on the specific Ferry operator and Terminal, the ticket price might exclude terminal fees, seaport taxes, or international passenger departure fees. These must be paid in cash or via card directly at the ferry terminal before departure.
If you miss your ferry, the ticket will be considered a no-show and is generally non-refundable. You will need to book a new ticket for your journey. To avoid missing your ferry, arrive at the terminal at least 1 hour before departure for domestic travel and 2 hours before departure for international travel. This allows sufficient time for check-in, security procedures, and boarding formalities.
A full 100% refund is provided only if the ferry operator cancels the service or the ferry is not operational. Unfortunately, if you miss the ferry due to personal reasons or late arrival, the ticket is entirely non-refundable.
Boarding and dropping points cannot be changed after the ticket has been confirmed. Any change in the Boarding or dropping point selected during booking are final and non-changeable, as per the ferry operator's policy. We recommend reviewing your boarding and dropping locations carefully before completing your booking.
Child fare policies and discounts (if any) are set individually by each ferry operator. We recommend selecting your preferred route and checking the Booking Policies section to see exactly what rules apply to your little travelers!
The Luggage fare policy may vary depending on the respective ferry operators and their terms & conditions. Kindly select your preferred source and destination, and refer to the Booking Policies section for the details.
