i can understand being 1/2 - 1 hour late. even in atmost circumstances 2 hour late is acceptable, but if so atleast help or coorperation fromt he drivers is much needed. the singapore city bus driver was the least coorperative nor eve had the mind to help. since im a foreigner, the bus wifi which was supposed to work wasnt functioning even. made me write this feedback solely because of the singapore driver

We were disappointed that the bus made several pick‑ups before heading to the destination. Although we boarded at 6:45 am, by 8:30 am we were still in Singapore. On the return trip, the bus was delayed and we even had to transfer to another vehicle.

I recently traveled from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur with Transtar Express Xtras and overall had a very good experience. The bus in Malaysia felt premium — comfortable and well‑maintained. Although I had to change buses, the transition was smooth and well‑organized. The Malaysian driver was excellent: professional, calm, and friendly, which made the trip enjoyable. The Singapore driver was acceptable, though his interaction with passengers was somewhat unprofessional. Overall, the journey was comfortable and efficient, and I would consider using Transtar Express Xtras again in the future.

Bus delayed changed pickup time from 9.45 to 10.30 am

The “bridging” bus added 1–2 hours by traveling around Singapore to pick up passengers from multiple points. After switching buses, there were further drop‑offs, including extra stops at TBS before reaching Lalaport. The final journey ended up taking three hours longer than scheduled. Even with the so‑called “free” upgrade to SuperstarZ, the ride was bumpier than other buses due to poor suspension. Overall, this service is not recommended.

The bus arrived behind schedule, and passengers were required to transfer to another vehicle before reaching the customs checkpoint, followed by yet another transfer upon entering Malaysia. These multiple bus changes made the journey unnecessarily inconvenient. Due to heavy traffic congestion, the trip lasted approximately eight hours. While traffic delays are understandable, the prolonged journey combined with repeated transfers made the experience exhausting. The constant stop‑and‑go movement throughout the ride also caused significant nausea and discomfort.

I was shifted from one bus that picked us up initially to another bus. Instrutions from the driver of the ‘feeder bus’ was unclear. I had to go down and almost boarded the wrong bus (there were two other buses waiting for us in another location) had I not clarified with the other drivers. Initial delay was from 9:59 pm to 10:45pm, which was notified via text message, which was fine. Subsequent delay was until 12 midnight when we started to leave Singapore. Seats were comfortable and no further issues throughout the journey. And of course, we arrived 2 hours late.
