Singapore to Batam Ferry: Travel Tips and Visa Information

• Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date.

• At present, nationals from 15 countries (including Singapore) can enter Batam without a visa for up to 30 days.

Passengers from Singapore to Batam must have DAC

Indonesia has launched a unified digital portal called “All Indonesia” to consolidate immigration, customs, and health procedures into a comprehensive document, the Digital Arrival Card (DAC). Effective from October 1, 2025, it is now mandatory to present the DAC at the immigration office while entering Batam from Singapore via ferry.

• Visitors must complete the form at least three days (72 hours) before arrival. 

• The application is FREE. 

• The system generates a QR Code that must be presented at the immigration or Customs upon arrival. 

• DAC is not equivalent to a Visa.

Steps to Apply DAC

• Visit the Official All Indonesia DAC portal and select the Arrival Card Service. 

• Select the nationality status. 

• Fill in the personal information. 

• Complete your travel details. 

• Fill in the declaration for immigration, health, customs and quarantine information. 

• Review the information and click on submit. 

• Once you complete the Arrival Card, the system will generate a QR Code.
