Commuters traveling from Woodlands towards Tampines Avenue 4 can rejoice! The Land Transport Authority (LTA), in collaboration with SBS Transit, is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new bus service, the 168A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Starting May 13, 2024, the 168A will offer a convenient short-trip option for those traveling during peak hours. This service will operate on weekdays and Saturdays (excluding public holidays) during the mornings and evenings, catering to the higher travel demand during these times.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The 168A will commence its journey at Woodlands Interchange and terminate at the bus stop along Tampines Avenue 4, opposite Tampines Station\/Interchange (bus stop code: 76149). En route, it will make stops at 14 convenient locations, including Woodlands Square, Jalan Kayu, and various points along the Tampines Expressway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The introduction of the 168A bus service is a direct response to feedback from commuters in Tampines who have expressed a need for a more direct and efficient way to travel from Woodlands. This new service aims to alleviate congestion on existing bus routes and provide a faster travel option during peak hours.
