The ferry service aims to meet the needs of residents, particularly those in Nanga Payang’s longhouses, located within a seven-kilometer radius from the ferry landing point. Highlighting the demographic diversity, Datuk Len Talif Salleh noted that Bukit Huang is predominantly Chinese, Parit Bugis is mainly Bugis Malay, and Nanga Payang is primarily Iban.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discussions on these development plans occurred during a meeting with Kuala Rajang assemblyman, focusing on Minister Aidel’s initiatives for the Batang Rajang Crossing Project and the Pasi-Tanjung Manis Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stressing the urgency of these projects, given residents’ reliance on boats to reach Sarikei, Len Talif Salleh assured active collaboration between the Public Works Department and the ministry to finalize the ferry service implementation plan and expedite the Batang Rajang Crossing Project on the Pasi-Tanjung Manis Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
