Recently, Transport Minister Anthony Loke, announced a significant enhancement in transportation services to accommodate the surge in travelers. The move for additional bus services for Chinese New Year 2024 is set to revolutionize travel during this busy period, reflecting the government&#8217;s commitment to efficient and accessible public transportation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the festive season approaching, the addition of new flight routes is a welcome development. These routes are designed to ease congestion and provide more options for travelers. Not just flights, there will be a significant increase in train schedules, aiming to offer more flexibility and convenience to travelers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to flights and trains, the expansion of bus services plays a crucial role in catering to the increased demand. New bus routes and increased frequencies will help in decongesting major travel hubs and provide a reliable option for commuters. The additional bus services for Chinese New Year 2024 will help daily commuters and holiday travelers alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Transport Minister also announced that the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) is set to begin accepting applications for Temporary Change Permits (LPS) from January 15 to February 2. These permits are designed to enable buses from various categories to offer transportation services for individuals traveling home for the Chinese New Year, provided they meet certain criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Loke highlighted the success of this initiative in the previous year, which resulted in the addition of 296 buses. He anticipates an even greater number this year.
